Angela McEvilly [ANG-eh-lah mick-eh-VIL-ee]
Angela worked as a Theatre Sound Operator/ Designer and Production Engineer for many years.
She toured extensively across the UK and internationally with many shows and enjoyed several years of working on Sir Matthew Bourne’s productions including Edward Scissorhands, Play without words, The Nutcracker, The Car Man and Highland Fling.
She was Head of Sound at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre; she also worked at the National Theatre for many years. She is also the Administrator for Theatre and Live Events Production Services Ltd.
Angela launched the Placement Programme in April 2024 and has thoroughly enjoyed watching the programme go from strength to strength.
She is passionate about opening the talent pipeline to allow our incredibly talented New Adventures teams to pass on their many years of experience and knowledge to the next generation in a safe and nurturing environment.
Angela is a Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is currently working towards her Brown belt in Karate.
