This Black History Month, we're celebrating the inspiring work of Artistry Youth Dance (AYD), a youth dance company empowering young people of African and Caribbean heritage and nurturing the next generation of Black dance artists.
AYD is helping to build a more culturally diverse dance community across the UK, creating opportunities for young people to develop their creativity, grow in confidence and explore futures in dance.
We're proud to be partnering with AYD for a second year and to be taking part in AYD100 later this month. The five-day programme brings together young Black dancers with leading dance companies, vocational schools, universities and conservatoires, offering valuable opportunities for learning, connection and inspiration.
As part of the programme, New Adventures will deliver a workshop for participants, sharing our creative approach and supporting young dancers as they develop their skills and aspirations.
We look forward to joining AYD100 and celebrating the incredible talent of the young people involved.
