SYDNEY LOVES EDWARD!

In one of the most pretigious nights in its history, New Adventures has triumphed at The Sydney Opera House, making history as the first British dance company to play the iconic, world famous venue.
The company recieved a standing ovation for the Australian Premiere of Matthew Bourne's production of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, based on Tim Burton's much loved film of the same name.
The production featured Matthew Malthouse as Edward and Noi Tolmer, making her debut as Kim. Dominic North also made his highly successful debut in the role of Edward at the Sydney Opera House this weekend. Many other members of the Company were also making their debuts in the production and celebrated together at a party after the performance where all the waiters donned Edward wigs to serve the Sydney VIP's.
Matthew Bourne comments on the Sydney premiere -
"This truly was one of the great nights in my career and indeed for all our cast and crew. We are so honoured to be here representing the UK in this most special theatre. Its a rare and unique experience that none of us will ever forget. The warmth and enthusiasm of the Australian audiences has also been overwhelming and I hope that this is the first of many New Adventures productions to be seen on this legendary stage"
