DORIAN GRAY IN MOSCOW
Posted on Tuesday 4 August 2009

New Adventures Dorian Gray company have just returned from a triumphant engagement at the Chekhov International Theatre in Moscow where it gave 8 completely sold out performances at The Mosovet Theatre

It was the third time that New Adventures has appeared at the Festival, where it has become an audience favourite, with flower throwing fans, and audiences members including top Russian film Directors and stage and movie actors.

During the New Adventures stay, a reception was given for the company at the British Embassy hosted by the British Ambassador, Mrs Anne Fyfe Pringle, who also attended the show along with representatives of the British Council. After the final performance, our Promoters also threw a party for New Adventures, The Robert Lapage Company, who were also appearing, as well as everyone who had made the Festival such a success. The company has already been invited to perform in the next Festival in 2011. It will be our fourth consecutive appearance, as the Festival is only held every two years.
