Former New Adventures dancer, Arthur Pita, now one of the UK's most sought after choreographers, has won the 2008 TMA Dance Award for his work on Theatre Rites project MISCHIEF. Director, Sue Buckmaster of Theatre Rites and Arthur collaborated on the family friendly extravaganza (particularly aimed at pre- teen theatregoers) last year at the Peacock and on tour. They hope to bring the production back next year for further dates and possible dates in New York.
The award was presented by New Adventures star, Richard Winsor, recently seen playing the title role in DORIAN GRAY. Other presenters inculded Dame Judi Dench and Piaf star, Elena Roger.
